We will be dismissing our regular evening service to join our sister churches for a district singspiration. This singspiration will be held at the West Frankfort Heights Church of God. At the singspiration, people will being sharing songs, poems, talents, or encouraging thoughts that give glory to God. Arrive a little early to sign up if you have something to share. Meal and time of fellowship following the service.

The Blessing of the Farmer is prayer service focused on asking God’s blessing for farmers and their families in the upcoming season. This service seeks to highlight two things. First, that farmers are an important part of our communities and we want to see them succeed. Second, that prayer makes a difference and we want to make space for God in our lives. We will be dismissing our normal evening services this night to join our neighbors just down the road at the Bonnie Baptist. They will be hosting the Victory Boys gospel quartet. This is a dinner hosted at the church that gives couples a chance to enjoy quality time together without needing to worry about watching the kids. Kid friendly entertainment and food are provide for children in a different part of the church while couples can spend time together over a good meal. The price is $10 for the entire family. This is an opportunity that women have to connect with each other, be encouraged, and taker deeper steps in their spiritual journey. Most meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the evening. This meeting will be at Mildred’s house in Mt. Vernon.

A time for our men to come together to encourage one another, pray together, hear from God’s Word, and consider how we as men can impact our families, community and church.

This is the 5th annual women’s conference held by Kingdom Seed Ministries in Mt. Vernon, IL. This year’s theme is “Magnify”.
