Morning Worship

Sundays @ 10:00 AM

The Sunday morning worship consists of singing worship songs (a mix of hymns and contemporary songs), times for prayer, and a sermon. Come expectant with a heart ready to worship your Creator and a mind ready hear to His truth.

Sunday School

Sundays @ 11:30 am

Sunday school is a time of breaking up into smaller individual classes to take focused looked to learn from God’s Word. It provides an opportunity to ask questions, dialogue, and get to know others in a church on a more personal level.

Evening Service

Sundays @ 6:00 PM

Often times for evening service we share together in a more conversational study of God’s Word. Other times we use Sunday evening’s to host church dinners and other special events that promote community and togetherness.

Kids

Nursery

Nursery workers are available for children 3 and under during the sermon portion of the Sunday morning worship service. The nursery is right next to the sanctuary if you need to step out real quick to check on your kids.

Kids of the Kingdom

Kids of the Kingdom is a children church time available for ages 4 through 5th grade during the sermon portion of the Sunday morning worship service. Kids have an opportunity to learn from God’s word with a lesson made just for them. Snacks, crafts, and games are frequently incorporated into the lesson to make it more memorable.

Youth Group

The church’s youth group meets each Saturday at 6 PM to study God’s word. Youth group is for 6th-12th graders. The students also have opportunities throughout the year to participate in activities that are both fun and promote spiritual growth such as camps, conventions, and specially planned events.

What Should You Wear?

We suggest that you wear something that you feel comfortable in. You can dress more formal or casual. It’s up to you. We are more concerned with how God is changing a person on the inside than how they look on the outside. Pick something you feel comfortable worshiping God in and come with an expectant heart. We would love to meet you.

What Else is Happening?

Besides our normal weekly services we have special events planned throughout the year. To stay up to date and check out what else is going on you can go to our events page or connect with us on Facebook. If you have any questions about an event feel free to give us a call @ 618-244-1600.

You are more than welcome here at the Bonnie Church of God. If you are looking for a church to call home or just stopping in for a visit we think that you’ll find that Bonnie is an encouraging place. Remember, God didn’t design any of us to walk through this life alone. It’s our hope that everyone would find the love and salvation of Jesus Christ and be connected to His mission and community in a local church. Whether it be here at Bonnie or another church, we pray that you find strength, encouragement, and love among a community of believers.

24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

-Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV
